Pope Francis has written a letter addressed to every person on the planet, asking us all to protect the earth. Will you play your part to protect our common home?

Our Eco team has been democratically elected pupils from each year group who help support the school and local community to reduce waste, encourage recycling and focus on saving resources such as water and electricity.

It is our response to Pope Francis' call to care for our common home and contributes towards our action in gaining the CAFOD Livesimply award which we are working towards.

We are currently focusing on:

Litter:  To reduce the amount of litter in the school and local environment

Energy: To reduce the amount of energy being used by the school

Waste:  To decrease the amount of waste produced and increase our recycling
